So Châteaux

So Châteaux has produced more than 100 episodes, shot in famous and little-known châteaux, with Jacques Garcia at Champ-de-Bataille, Jean-Louis Remilleux at Digoine, Alexandre de Vogüé at Vaux-le-Vicomte and Olivier de Lorgeril at La Bourbansais, among others. The videos are published on several YouTube channels, two of which have more than 100,000 subscribers each, for a total of more than 30 million views. Their English versions are gradually coming to sochateaux.com.

Before founding So Châteaux, Olivier Schweizer was head of communications, then director, of two historic châteaux: Groussay, west of Paris, and Digoine, in Burgundy. He has visited more than 500 châteaux, has personally met more than 300 château owners and has built a network of more than 3,500 owners and heritage professionals.

So Châteaux also produces videos for heritage organizations: institutions, local authorities and professionals of the sector. Among them, La Demeure Historique, with twelve portraits for its centenary (2024), the Drôme department (3 episodes) and the Orne department (4 episodes), the studio of interior architect Juan Pablo Molyneux, and the château insurer SLA Verspieren, with Dominique de la Fouchardière, for a series of videos on risk prevention.
