Refund policy

This policy explains when and how a refund can be requested for each type of product sold on sochateaux.com. It complements our terms of sale.
Strategy Calls
Strategy Calls are non-refundable. If your plans change, you can reschedule at no cost up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time, from the order page in your account or by writing to contact@sochateaux.com with your order reference.
Digital downloads (PDF guides and high-definition photographs)
Under European Union consumer law, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. For immediately downloadable content, this right is waived by the explicit checkbox shown at checkout, which reads:
I want to access the content immediately and I waive my right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
Without that checkbox, no purchase is completed. As a result, digital downloads are not refundable once delivered.
If the file you received is corrupted, unreadable, or materially different from the product description, write to contact@sochateaux.com within 14 days and we will replace the file or refund the order at our discretion.
Support contributions
Support contributions are voluntary financial gestures toward the editorial project. They are non-refundable and do not entitle the contributor to a commercial counterpart beyond optional acknowledgement on the supporters page.
How to request a refund
- Open your account and find the order in your order history.
- For other cases, contact contact@sochateaux.com with your order reference.
Disputes
If we cannot resolve a refund request amicably, you can use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Romanian and EU consumer courts have jurisdiction.
