Dampierre Pays Tribute to Antoni Calmon

The ceremony was attended by his parents, his sister Magali, family members and friends, as well as Corinne Ponton, mayor of Dampierre.

This moment of remembrance and reflection was marked in particular by the unveiling of rue Dr Antoni Calmon, now named in his honor.

Several speeches punctuated the ceremony. Corinne Ponton spoke on behalf of the town, followed by Denis Calmon, Antoni's father, and then Magali Calmon, his sister.

A portion of the ceremony also took place at the church, with the participation of Guillaume, a friend of Antoni's and music director.

The organization and decoration of the day were entrusted to Géraldine Benech, of Les Grands Moments.

Through this ceremony and the street that now bears his name, Dampierre sought to permanently enshrine the memory of Dr. Antoni Calmon in the town's collective memory.
